Bill you? If you mean "press accept," I'll do once I'm able to access my paypal again. Thank you. I'm at work, which restricts me access to paypal or email. My internet at home has been down the past 2 days as well.

Again, thank you all for helping me out. I'm going to SF this saturday to look at an early 944. I'll most likely buy it - I don't expect it to be concours for the money. I'll post some pictures if I get the car.

Oh, and I'll need a "Sponsored by Rennlist" windshield banner. I wouldn't be able to get myself into any kind of car if it wasn't for you guys! All my friends are in awe than a message board could come through for someone in need like this.

Serge, like I said, I'm sorry I don't have the cash to contribute. I'm glad that the Rennlist Community is doing so much for you. Good luck, and happy driving in the new 944!

Just got a call from Serge on the road, he's on his way over with the new car. I'll take some pics he can post with any info. He is back on the road in record time thanks to Rennlist. Everyone who was able to help please take a bow!

If he comes back with a 968 Turbo, I want a refund! No, on second thought, I would want someone to steal my car. No, no, I'd want part ownership in the car! I always wamted a 944 to drive when I am on the left coast instead of a rent-a-heap!

Just saw this, Serge, if you need any more help let me know. If this car you bought needs tires just PM me, I am sure I can work something out (maybe not free but awfully cheap), need parts just let me know.

Sorry about the car, having lost one recently I know how it feels.

Thank you Matt! The Tires are old but replacement isn't imminent. I'll let you know when the time comes for a "good friend" discount.

To all those who don't browse the forum often. I no longer need additional funds. Thanks to everyone that helped me! I just can't thank you enough. I had to print out this thread and show my family because they didn't believe something like this could ever happen.

This is incredible! Rennlist clearly rules and anyone who thinks Porsche guys are selfish or stuck up just needs to hear this story!

Serge - I hope this outpouring of concern and help has filled what must have been a huge empty pit in your stomach when you realized the car was gone.

Everyone who stepped up should be congratulated - you guys fullly rock. Well done!

Can we see pics of your new ride??

Serge, sorry to hear of the loss, that just plain sucks! I spend about a billion hours here and just noticed this. This has been just another example of Rennlisters get the job done, damnit!

Anytime I park my car anywhere but the garage I get super paranoid. Are there any "lessons learned" from this, stuff that has been easily overlooked (aside of the full coverage thing)? Any security cameras around that might have picked this up?

I'm never keeping any possessions in the car anymore and using the club overnight. I figure people will pass on a 1000 dollar car if they have to go through the trouble of sawing through a wheel. Installing a killswitch soon too, after I get bigger issues out of the way first, like belts.
