Quick question while I'm doing a head gasket install............

One side of the header to head gaskets is metal, the other side is fiber with a sealing ring, which side goes against the head?
I don't recall from disassembly.

I know for a fact that header to cat is metal to metal, so I'm assuming the metal side goes to the exhaust manifold and the fiber to the head.
