Default Bored and waiting for the UPS man. . . took some pics

So I've gotten my S2 somewhat apart, and now I'm waiting for the UPS man to come with my Flywheel lock, and timing belt tool, and balance shaft wrench. I got a little bored and took some pics.

The valvecover looked clean in the car, but under the light its all grimey, and I need to get it degreased before it goes to the powder coater. Brakleen makes a nice hand softener.

some pics of the cams / tensioner / chain, and on the lift.

UPS hasn't come, but Fed-Ex did. . . Heres the new waterpump, belts, and seals. . . and apearantly Pelican didn't know the waterpump came with a thermostat and gasket kit, so now I've got 2 . If returns are a PITA, I'll sell them here.

now wheres that UPS man???????????

I just did all that to my "S" About a month ago, I changed all my rollers too. Let me know if you have any problems....

Good thing you ordered the Haynes manual! I dunno what I'd do without the 944 bible.

Btw, clean looking car!

Thanks for the replys guys. The tensioner came in about an hour after I posted, along with cam chain and krickit (sp?) tool. still no flywheel lock, and balance shaft tool

The thunderbird cover goes to the bird below, so its qualified to stay

Very nice. Practice that kriket a few times... search for a post I did asking for a PDF. They can be a bit trickey... But accurate.

You can use the haynes manual as firewood when the power goes out and it gets cold at night
