Default removing sunroof

I have tried multiple times to take my sunroof out, and have never been able to get it out. Does anyone have a step by step that i could follow to take it out. Or are there usually problems with taking these out?

Are you able to get the lift arms to retract into the roof using the switch? Do you have the owners manual available?

The car needs to be off and the key in the accessory position. Push the button and the arms will retract completley. Release the two latches in the front and push up on the froom from inside the car, it should lift right up.

If you have an early model 944, you need to have they key in the ignition with the car turned off.

The trick is to put the key in "Position 1", which is the first position, clockwise, from off. Then push the UP side of the sunroof switch. This is counter intuitive, I know, just trust me on this. The circuit is wired such that only when the key is in Position 1 will the arms retract.

Unlatch the front two clips and pull out the roof and enjoy your al fresco motoring!
