Default Attention London Rennlisters

I will be in London UK for work for the next 6 weeks. Can any of you UK based guys reccomend any 944 wrecking yards?
Do any of you have regular get togethers? Beer & pizza nights, beer & pork pies, beer & beer etc.

Regards
Peter

Sorry Peter, Can't help you out with London. There are a few days out in the midlands the next few weekends though. There's a show up in Warwickshire (stoneleigh) on the 24th, a meeting at PCGB HQ on the 30th, and a Dyno day at Silverstone on the 7th. Try having a look over on www.porscheclubgbforum.com or the region board here.

There are meets at the Ace Cafe, never been myself. Info HERE
Also, there is the Front runner meet on 1st May which is at the Porsche Club GB headquarters. The first happened last year lots of 924,944,968,928 and a Cayenne.LINK
On 7th May there is a 944 (mostly)(about 40) rolling road day at Silverstone.LINK

Thanks Pikey 7 & Flamingeye,
The get together at the Ace Cafe looks like fun. I was unable to open the other 2 links to the P club of GB. It said I didn't have enough credentials. You're not still treating us lot like convicts are you ? LOL.

Yep. Landing at Heathrow about noon. I plan to take the tube to my hotel, drop off my gear, and wander around until 10 or 11 pm when I generally run out of gas (petrol) after a transatlantic flight.

If you like a nice pint try the Porterhouse in Covent Garden, I was at the one in Dublin a few times. They Oyster stout is great, and they have non-shellfish beers if you prefer.

Hopefully we can meet up.

-Joel.

Peter, You'll need to create a profile to read anything on the PCGB forum. We do like to keep things a little "island-like"!

Sorry you couldn't open the link, heres the quote/details for frontrunner.

'I'm pleased to report that following the success of the last event I can announce:

FRONTRUNNER - 1st May 2005

Come and join us at FRONTRUNNER 2005; the second Club meeting of all front engined Porsche cars, the first was a great success and saw a large grouping of every model - including the biggest turnout of 968 cars seen together!
The event will be much the same format as last year with an organised run out with route map, special guests, model line ups, a display of one car each outside the Club Office entrance, hot snacks to buy on site as well as the facilities of Cornbury House including the Club shop. I look forwards to seeing you at Porsche Club GB, Cornbury House, Cotswold Business Village, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, GL56 0JQ from 11am.
