so since im the tech inspector for the pca this year, i had to make the trip up to lexington ohio to the mid ohio sports car course. All went well, i had to skip out early for my dad's birthday before i could get a ride around the course though. Next time i'll be racing at putnam when the teener is running again. Heres some pics! yeah that teener say 1.7 on the back but its packin a six!

In that first pic, is that a real lightweight m3 in the background? I thought they only came in certain colors, so maybe they just added the flag on the front. However, if it is a real lightweight, that is super-rare. I think something like 150 were brought to the US.

Edit: Only made in Alpine white, so I guess the ///M flag was added. Also, only 85 made it to the US.

Nope, not me! I think that is Jaqui Foster (or her husband Jim), XSBOOST can clarify.

I wanted to go, but registration filled up in some crazy fast time like 24hours and I didn't get in on time.

Mid-Ohio is such a great track. I love running there. I just wish it were closer. I'm jealous.

Great weekend Dan and great Tech Inspecting. When we goto Putnum I will try to give you and Erin a ride around, though your instructor will do the same. I just wish I had more time to chill with everyone.

Tifo, if you want to goto Mid-OH still or anyone for that matter, we are all going again in a couple of weeks and there is still room in the NNJR event held on the 6-8. You get 3 days! I might need more tires!
