Default WTB: 944/951 for auto-x, track schools

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a solid car to use as an auto-x/track car. It will not be a daily driver. I don't care so much about esthetics, but all the parts need to be there. Door dings, faded paint, etc don't bother me. Rust and big dents, bent frame rails, etc are deal breakers.

Car has to be mechanically solid, not looking to take on a basket case. I'd prefer something within a 200 mile radius of the Denver area so I can see/drive the car but am open to a good car further away.

Budget is approximately $5000 give or take...

Drop me a note if you have something or know of something available!

mines in signature. alll recent tuneup and what not within 600-700 miles now. clutch replaced with spring clutch replaced about 5000 ago. has ATE "powergroove" rotors, and stainless brake lines already. dash and front end are worst parts, door dings, i have a new fender and nose panel ready to go on, but the early cars have to be cut off(i still have to cut my nose panel off, the new one is already seperated). im not a good salesman, thats all i got!

Didn't mean any offense but I'm sure someone wouldn't want to know the details of their misfortune.
