Stock is going to be the best, There have been tests and they have shown +- a few horsepower, its not worth the work. It will sound better with a cone air filter, but you can just drill holes in the top of your current air filter box if you really want the sound. Keep stock, the NA engine's don't have that much power to be added from easy places like this, it was done right fromt he factory.

BTW, PLEASE do a search (by hitting the search button near the top), on your problems before posting, I've seen you ask this question in two separate threads, and frankly, its been beat to death, no hard feelings, just check the search button and you will find a lot more info.

are you kidding me? didn't you JUST make a thread about this 20 minutes ago? calm down and give up already. there aren't any air filters that will make a difference. that is the real fact.

Hmm, seems odd, he asks what the performance difference between an e36 325 and 88 944 is and yet he owns both already? In some posts the 944 is an 87 and others it's an 88, again, seems odd. Seems like somebody is either screwing with us, or he needs to learn to use the search function.

I also find it odd that he can use the PM function yet can't do a Search.
