I would like to thank and congratulate the event planners and the entire OVR for a putting on a wonderful event. Yesterday was the most fun I've had so far autocrossing and the same goes for my co-driver. We'll probably be attending a couple more with our formula car, but I can't wait to get my 944 back together and join in the competition for P3.

TJ - thanks for another very creative course! I had a blast.

Jason - I hope to see you at each Redline series this year - it's great having some close competition! We should consider ourselves a sub-class, like P3-Stock, or something.

How did Franken924 do?

I'm learning on it though, I feel like I am getting better with it. Dan is also a great driver and drove the tires off that 924S.
Are you saying the course was not fair??? Sorry about the manual steering, you need to re-convert. I think the course was well balanced due to the close times posted, the first part I think was definitely tighter than the rest of the course, just wanted to keep everyone safe and still get to drive fast. Don't worry man, you will catch Dan next time!

LOL! Well, it was the same course for everyone, so "fair" really doesn't come into play. But, you know how difficult it was to do with your power steering, so............yeah, I know, I was the one who installed a manual rack.

But, in all honesty, the course was not as it was quoted earlier by...ahem....some one in this very thread:

This looks to be a big and fast course...

Well, it was big....67.8 was FTD...and it was fast when you look at the little car's times.... Going from the front to back lots was fast, maybe not the 180 to get on that straight.... I can picture it now in your car with the manual steering rack going around that corner saying something along the lines of that f@#$#%@#% TJ did it to me again!!!

I am glad you guys had fun. Bring that SAE car anytime you want. I think that the competition in P3 and in the Boxster class is feirce and great.

On the note of the Boxster class, all boys in all classes better watch out, Christine is finding out that she has a fast car and was only a second off of FTD mens as 68.XX!!!! I think she would have taken the uber light grey 911 driven by a certain hairless person...

Dale...the competition is certainly very fun!!! Franken924 ran a 76.something as his FTD. He was the next closest to you.
