Default FS: 944 Turbo (86)'s Fuchs Alloys... (Boston Mass, MA)

I wanna sell these with the tires on but I prefer someone to pick them up and I guess I'll put the car on jackstands until I get new wheels or something...

They are located in Brookline, MA (just next to Boston). The tires literally have less than 500 mi. on them but I decided that I really don't like these wheels (sorry Fuchs fans). I was going to refinish them. But, if I could sell them and get the money I paid for the tires back and some I'd rather get the aftermarket 17" wheels from TireRack.

Any interest?

BTW - the tires are Yokohama Avid V4S (205-55-16 and 225/50/16 ) - both V-Rated.

Local only please....

You could probably unload those quite quickly on the pelican 911 BBS. 951 fuchs (at least the rears) are of great interest to those guys. Do a quick search and you'll see why.

PM me with your asking price.

Or, I have a set of 17" C2 replica wheels in Graphite with almost new Michelin Pilot Sports that we can work out a cash+trade deal for.

However, I am not local and we would need to ship to each other.

They lust over 8" front fuchs on early, narrow-bodied 911s indeed!

Post in the 911 classifieds at www.Pelicanparts.com ...they get the most porsche parts traffic on the net!

I'd like to get $600 o.b.o - I have no idea how much they are worth. I'd just like to get some money back on the new tires that's all.

but I'd definitely be interested to trade them for 17" Cup 1 or Cup 3 replicas that bolt on to the 1986 cars.. (+ cash obviously)

The front two are not too pretty anymore and the rears are just alright, I'll take better pictures and put them up tonight.

Any ideas on the price? or maybe I should just auction them off on E-Bay...

tifosiman,

could you send me pictures or post pictures of the graphite C2 wheels? Those are my favorite wheels actually but unfortunately the spacers would set me back some $400 I think?

I believe the 17" wheels Tifo has have built in spacers and are made specifically for 86 MY cars, they would bolt on w/o the need for spacers on your car...

$1600?!?

Wow... are these worth that much. Am I the only one thinking they are not exactly pretty wheels on the 944??

Anyways, will go take pictures - but.. is there a way to check if they are real Fuchs/Porsche wheels or if they are replicas other than taking the wheels off?

Regards,
-Holson-

Here they are...

I have no idea why the rims look yellow... weird white balance and excuse the wide angle lens. If I have time tomorrow I'll take better pictures outside of the garage...

1600 - for a excellent/refinished set. You could probably get 1000 for yours.

Those are real, and in dire need of refurbishing. It's doubtful that they will bring $1000. The range of $600-$800 is about right. Best of luck with your sale.

Would you be willing to ship them to Florida? I know you said they have 500 miles on them but are they old tires or would they be able to use still? Email me seb928s@tampabay.rr.com
