Default Name this wheel, because I want a set like this now!

This isn't a C2 Turbo style 17" wheel. It looks like a 16" C2 wheel but it's a 17 inch. Someone know what kind of wheel this is??? I really like this look especially for my cars!

I think Hacker-Pschorr has a set, try PM'ing him. I don't know the name of them.

Hope he doesn't mind me posting a pic for reference.

I'd trade my C2's for a set of those in a heartbeat. Thin spokes are sexy!

Those are the 17" found on some 968... there was an aftermarket replica made in the early offset. I had a set in my old car, but I think they are discontinued.

Yeah, man I would kill for a set of those! With those and 968 handles, mirrors, and wing, the exterior is complete as far as im concerned!

I have cup 1's on my car, but those aren't them. And when I do a search on cup 1's it brings up my style rims

I have the original invoice and Tire Rack ad for these wheels - originally purchased in 1995. I bought them from my mechanic in 98 or so. I'll try to dig up the paperwork on them, my office is a mess right now.

Mine are currently on the 928:

Andy, I believe there are 3 types of Original cup 1 wheels. Those you have (in 16"), those I have (same as the picture but 16"), and the 968 17". God only knows why they're all cup 1's! Then there are all the aftermarket ones....... I have not seen any with the thinner spokes as replicas in 17's though. All I've seen is originals.

I've only seen wheels like mine that are OEM in 16", never 17".

Borbet Type T or D replicas of Cups, IIRC. Sold through TR.

I agree the 968's came standard with these wheels in 16 inch, the optional ones were the 17's that look slightly different and have more rounded spokes.

Very nice looking wheels in my opinion!

The kind on my car are ACT or something like that. The brochure I have for these wheels shows some logo, can't make out the name 100%. They are out of Japan.

The Borbet Type T looks very very similar but still isn't that exact wheel. I wonder if this wheel was really popular when it had come out because it damn sure looks very very attractive on our Porsches.

Someone up there mentioned my wheels being 16". Mine are actually 17" FRH/Hartmann replicas with the larger spacer cast on the wheel to support the offset of the early cars.

Thanks hacker for the attempt to dig up the paperwork. I'd like to get the model number so that I can journey about changing the wheels on my my car again into these someday.

It's also very close to the Speedline 5 spoke wheels. There were some spy shots of a factory 997S wearing similar non-OEM 5 spoke "Speedline" wheels.
