Recap the recap. THEY ARE REPLICAS, just like they have been EVERY time they have been posted.

Clue #1 - Tire Rack does not sell OE replacement wheels
Clue #2 - This particular set is by ACT, they were similar to the Borbets of the time. ACT does not make that wheel any longer (to the best of my knowledge).
Clue #3 - If no one on the board can identify them (and that includes people like myself and Jeremy) you can place money on them being replicas

Erik, ACT is correct. The logo should be just the letters ACT (center cap logo) and there might be small lettering beneath that.

Ummm...cup wheels, so hot.

If you can find them the Boxster S wheels look very good. If you want to run 7s all around I will pay good money for a set of 8.5" I really need 2 more. Have two front Boxster twists to trade.

Matt - I'm confused (what else is new?) - I guess saying they are made by ACT is also saying they are replica's. Or did you think some people might be thinking ACT made the OEM wheel?

Who made the C2 wheel, Borbet?

Erik, you are not confused. This particular set of wheels has come up a number of times and every time, I say, they are replicas. Every time, we get three pages of no, they were OE on X. Just wanted to double and triple clear up that the wheels like that were made aftermarket and sold through TR.

The C2 replicas were generally made by Borbet.
