Question Spilled some fuel

I spilled some fuel on to the engine while fussing with the fuel rail. Not a ton, but more than a few drops. How long should I wait before starting up the car?

What are you talking about campeck? You don't want to start the car to evaporate it, IF there is a pool of teh gas sitting somewhere. if the gas is not in visible puddles, only enough to wet whatever surface it is on, and the engine is cool, you can most likely run it, and before the metal gets anywhere near warm enough to ignite the fuel, it will evaporate. I wouldn't run a warm engine that you spilled gasoline on until it evaporates on it's own... but that's my opinion.
