Default what do you guys think of this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6434

horrible i think..doesnt even have a set of keys..5 neg feedbacks...says it was garaged since 94 for 10 yrs...and then jsut towed to his house a week ago..i do NOT think the way it looks can happen from just being in a garage..and im not talking about the damage done by the dog...my 944 has been totaled from a drunk driver..i was rear ended pretty badly but the front end of my car is still beautiful so i am looking for a car to just swap my front end on to and run off...my motor is also gone too and im not too sure about this...im not gonna bid on this as i dont think anyone will..but i may wait til it gets relisted to try and talk him down..$800 sounds good to me =) what do you guys think?

That car doesn't look that bad, but I wouldn't run it until I'd changed all the belts and rollers-so you're looking at a few hundred bucks there if you do it yourself. Might be a nice drive with a little bit of elbow grease!

I personally wouldn't touch it at that price. Too many unknows and that story is weak.

If it is flood-damaged, walk FAR AWAY from it. You will experience the strangest electrical Gremlins with a car that is submersed in water. The low price still is not worth the head-scratching fits of frustration you will endure.

What kind of garage was this car in?!?! I don't know what this guy thinks a garage is, but I know mine has 4 walls, a floor, and a roof. Look at the rest of this car, I understand where she hit the dog, but if this car was only driven for 8 years, and then stored for the last 10, there is no way it would look like that. This guy is a crook. I could understand ONE negative feedback, but that many, in that amount of time, (also on vehicles), shows that this guy is a crook. Stay far away.......

If it was in a flood you don't want to be anywhere near that car. Besides electrical problems there is mold. That smells bad and the spores can be bad news for some people - like almost kill them.

I don't think you could get rid of the mold without stripping down to metal, disinfect, throw away all upholstery and replace. That means dash, seats, carpet, etc. Quite the job.

Sadly, that car needs to be crushed and put out of its mistery. I don't see much worth salvaging.

Would that be Betty Jackson that he is talking about? Car looks rough around the edges but I bet it would clean up nice. The seller looks very dishonest! I would go look at in person and then make an offer. I betcha that thing that doesn't sell on ebay for that price. $6-800 tops is what I would pay!
