Default Who says it doesnt pay to part out cars?

my girlfriends brother came over today to help me take the interior out of the 924 im parting out. We removed pretty much the whole interior and one of the last pieces we removed was the consule. After getting out all of the wiring and cables and junk we go it out and what did we find underneath it? $400!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! thats right, four one hundred dollar bills rolled up in a rubber band shoved down in front of the shifter linkage for the automatic!!! I gave him half cuz he found it- not that i wouldnt have- but it was pretty cool. I paid 500 for this car and ive already made it back in one day w/ selling the trans and finding this! Oh well, time to sell some more stuff.

My uneducated guess is: It was drug money and guy was shot because he lost it.

actually they were the newer bills, the car hasnt been sitting long. Im guessing someone had an emergency stash under the automatic consule cap.

You make a good point....I found 83 cents! But not enough to pay for the rug shampoo. Obviously I have bad Karma.

All I got in my mine was a few bucks in change under the driver's seat, a mint, and a NJ turnpike ticket from god knows when. I guess he paid full fare for that trip.

I guess the car is going to pay for itself isn't it?

That beats the ring I found under seat of my 944. Unfortunately it was not covered in diamonds as I hoped for, but 14k gold is worth something.
