Ever see a truck tube used to float down the river? They get plenty big.

Welding the crack is going to cost a bit so the tube is a good idea. Also a welder might balk at welding a wheel even if you swear it won't be used on the road.

Well, I'm not so much doubting that it will get big enough as I am thta it will be the right shape. The tire is maybe about 12 inches wide, and ~2 inches tall. The tube would have to be pretty flat. I asked at a good wheel/tire place yesterday what they thought, and they didn't suggest a tube, which leads me to believe that the right tube probably doesn't exist. Matt or Tim, do you guys know otherwise?

The tube will stretch any way it has to.
