Default WTB: pair of 8 " Design 90's

I need 2 cheap 8 x 16 D90 wheels for a track car. While they need to be straight, they don't need to be perfect!! PM me if you can. It be really great if you were in the bay area so I could pick 'em up!

Thanks for your response!

6's and 7's are common,to get 8's you might need to buy a set of four including the narrower fronts.

FYI: D-90's go for about $100 per wheel. At least that's what I've seen. The same is true for the 5-spoke 968 wheels - about $100 to $125 per wheel.

BTW: I just bought a set of turbo cup wheels - the forged alumunim wheels use in the cup series. (lighter, stronger...Mmmm.... ) They are 7's front and 9's rear. $500 for the set with 1 year old street tires on them! They will be my street wheels for now. Then again, if I get 2 more 9's, I can run 9Jx16 at all four corners with meatier rubber! (Yes, they should fit!) But I digress...(Sorry)

CKKrause: What size tire do you plan on using?

Z-Man, the Turbo cup cars used Magnesium PDs. Did you get a set of Turbo S wheels, the forged Club Sport wheel? If so that is a SMOKING price.

YES!

I bought them from my friend and fellow 944 enthusiast (he drives a modded 951S) He's been trying to sell them for a few months, and couldn't find a seller, even at that price!

I'll sell them to ya for $850! j/k. I'm not selling them just yet, but when the time comes, I'll let you know!

The fronts have been painted over, but it wouldn't take much to restore them to their original beauty!

Turbo Cups for $500!!!! I'd give my left....well you know! With respect to D-90's, I bought a couple of 8 x 16's with no tires a couple of years ago for $50 each + shipping..... I'm patient!!

On ebay, I usually see 16x8 dish wheels (forged!) go for dirt cheap. They dont look too bad either...
