Interesting - took me a minute to catch on, but I've got a Ruger that could use some line time.

Bank job? Insider Informant Intimidation? Illegal deer hunt? What's the occasion...???

I know that I'll probably need a belt change/balance shaft adjustment/belt cover replacement/front end seal GTG pretty soon...

Dude, I don't own a bang-bang but I'll buy the ammo if you take me with.

George, I've got a couple dozen for you to choose from.

Just not this weekend Josh. Way too busy.

Hmmmmm. Not packing heat currently. Buddy of mine picked up a new piece not too long ago, so he might be interested. If he is I'll have to introduce him to the gang.

Now this is a true Greaseslinger Gathering! Was wondering how long it would take until y'all got to the firearms!

You need an occasion to shoot?

I've got some motor mounts that need replacing too

I was actually thinking beginning of May. What with working Sundays and Saturday being practice days (Space City Challenge at the end of April) I don't really have a free weekend 'til then.

Since a lot of the guys live on the north side, we could do some wrenching (like push Geo's car into the garage!), then maybe Carter's Country? That way we're not limited to just handguns. I could bring the .308, a couple AR-15's and even a .300 Win Mag if anybody feels up to it.

Sounds good to me.

OK guys I'm in. Let me know some of the ammo to pick up. I've been wanting to shoot an AR-15 (truth be known I want to buy one, but until the race car is done that's not even a remote possibility) and and AK47. I've shot a Barretta AR-70 and that was a damned cool rifle to shoot.

I'm tied up for the next three weekends. After that I'm good to go. Let's pick a date and I'll block out the time. Shoot, by then I may even have my car in the garage to start stripping the suspension and removing the engine.

Now how can we turn down an invite like that. Hill country, winding roads, Porsches, and automatic weaponry. Now that's Texas!

Oh yeah...add that to my huge laundry list of to-dos... Luckily, I have everything except for the belts and front end rebuild kit. Saving now...
