Ive got a DieHard in mine. Works great, fits perfect and the hold down works perfectly.
I was looking at a n Optima, but the only local one I found was more than double the price... After the discount because it had been opened and used as a doorstop

Hmm....choices now!
Does the Optima have small sideposts as well? I couldnt quite tell from the picture in my catalogs. The 944 doesn't have the most convenient battery cables. Smaller sideposts would really be convenient for my permanent mount battery maintainer harness.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to look into all of these.

I have an AC Delco...I dunno I've heard mixed reviews, but I got it replaced under partial warranty. I think they are more common choices for American cars.
What's that battery that's not box-shaped? I seem to remember seeing someones engine bay with a battery that was kinda round-shaped...?

I like my Interstate, and we put them into all the cars at work. I have an MT-47 I think. It was like 60 bucks. Haven't heard of any bad experience with them.

Die Hard here. I tried one Duralast and it recently died after only about 6 months of use. Hell with it. I'm sticking with the Die Hard; they've never let me down on any of my cars in the past.
