Haha, just reconnecting my battery mainterer, and i had a mind blank....i knew i had it on, but before i plugged the car in, i just needed to clear my mind of the thought of having them backwards by accident! HAHAHA!

my roomate blew up an MGB once by connecting jumper cables to it backward, they apparently color the negative terminal red and the positive black too, just so you have no chance if you don't know.

Our XKE is backward because it has a generator, so it's positive grounded. That saved the car from getting stolen once, somebody stole a battery out of another car and tried to put it in, but because they did it backward, it wouldn't start. Thank god.
