I know the 944 Turbo is known as the 951, but was the S2 Cabrio or even a plain S2 for that matter ever given a different internal designation #?

941

Should you ever have the misfortune of having to order seals for your convertible top, you'll see the part numbers begin with 941.

Don't think the 951 cabrio ever got one, though.

That's unusal, considering that 941 comes before 944. Usually Porsche numbers the models sequentially.

In any case I dread the day that I have to replace my top components...Thanks for the info!

Damian, I believe all the 968 cabriolet specific parts are the same as the S2 and 951 cab parts, thus they also get 941 part numbers.
