TDC sensor trouble.
I am replacing both speed and TDC sensors since the male connector ends are broken and only the internal wires are exposed.
I successfully removed the speed sensor (closest to the clutch housing) without any problem (removed the 10mm bolt and took off the sensor), very straight forward.
The TDC sensor however, doesn't want to come out what-so-ever. I removed the 10mm mounting bolt, shook the sensor side-to-side and it only comes out ~1/3 way. Only the black portion of the sensor get's exposed, the actual magnet (metal part) is "stuck" in there.............any ideas??

WD-40 it when pulled out and push it in to work it into the hole. should work free. If it breaks off in there, maybe carefully thread a bolt into it to help pull it out. Good Luck

I just replaced the speed and ref sensor on a car of mine last weekend. Both sensors were kinda stubborn to come out also. Like said before, I just pulled them up as far as they would go, without forcing them much, spray a little bit of PB blaster on them, and started working them back in and out while twisting till the blaster had a chance to work the crude loose and lubricate it enough to come out ok. When installing the new ones, I cleaned the holes out the best I could with a 1/4" bottle brush with scotchbrite wrapped around it (a little blaster on the pad), wiped it out, a little film of anti-seize on the sensor, and back in they went. Just don't get a whole bunch of spray and debris falling inside your clutch area. Stuff small rags down there if ya can.

Oh boy. If you can't get it out, then it sounds like Danno's suggestion of removing the bracket and all is your next step. I'd try a little harder on it. If not successful, I guess you'll have no other choice but to remove the bracket and all. Good luck, sometimes things just won't come easy, and the harder route is the only way.

Ugh, it's one of those simple things that just don't want to go right at all!!!
Guess i have to go the "hard" way, but accessing the bracket bolt is already hard to get
