Alright guys... read through the engine chapter to get a good handle on the operations of this engine. Quite interesting if I do say so myself. Anyway, it appears that the fuel metering lever was not operating correctly, which I deduced to be due to not enough flow as it operated smoothly. I then found what appeared to be an "extra" large vacuum hose on the smooth air intake connector between the two bellows pieces. I removed this (the other end was not connected to anything) and plugged it, then checked for other vacuum leaks (nothing major). The car now starts and drives, but seems weak (used to a Trans Am, might be nothing) The idle seems low, but it will need a new throttle body (have a spare) idle air adjustment screw.... more to come as I find more problems... thanks for the info!!!
