Default Camber plates vs rubber mount

I need to replace S2 strut mounts as the bearing are quite loose and presumably worn. The rubber is slightly split as well. In aussie dollars they are approx $500 pair which is much the same cost as a pair of camber plates.

I am concerned that the camber plates will be too harsh for the daily commute. Many subscribers would have made this modification so would anyone like to comment? Cheers

PS Does anyone know the cost to get a set of Paragon camber plates to Melbourne, Australia within 2 weeks?

the camber plates will contribute nothing to ride quality. go for the camber plates (or do as I did and use the KLA units - which are non-adjustable but use a monoball top mount rather than the stock roller bearing)

The ride will be harsher, but not by much from what I've heard. If you dont mind this, there is no reason not to buy the camber plates.

The guys running paragon are very useful and will quickly answer such questions if you email them.

Good luck.

I do

However, unless you have ride height adjustability, you'l need to choose from either Racer's Edge or KLA camber plates:
LINK - 944 strut mounts, camber plates

The flat plate style (camber+caster) will raise the ride height by approximately 7/8" because it does not accomodate for the OE spring hat design.
