Default Anybody Interested In 15" Fuchs?

I have a complete set of near-perfect Fuchs forged alloys. They have been professionally polished, and is ideal for track use. The sizes are listed below:

Front: 15"x8"
Rear: 15"x 10"

Yes, they are the super-deep offset- from a generous 911 SC. Price includes 100% new BFG All-Season M+S VR-rated tires. Caps included. Asking $1100. PM if interested, pics will be available shortly.

Not you dont.

Front: 15"x8"
Rear: 15"x 10" This does not exist, not made in a rear offset.

If they are 15X12s for an RSR one wheel is worth 1100 bucks. These are probably 15X6 and 15X8.

BTW, P-O-P, all Fuchs are early offset.

BTW, I would love to see pics too! FWIW, this is crap combination for a 944. 15" tires wide enough to fit the wheel are not UHP.

What year did they change then? I have fuchs on the 951 (which is an '86). I thought the offset changed in the 85.5+ models and therefore the fuchs I have would be late offset (or would they?)

87 was the offset change. 86 is early offset. The 86 951 is the only US production year you can use Fuchs on.

BTW, there is no hope a 10" Fuch wheel would fit a 944.

Re: 86 951

The Fuchs for the 86 951 have a part number starting with "951." Fuchs with part number starting with "911" will not fit the 86 951. The size of the wheels Zach is selling should be stamped in the inside of the rim. When he checks that it should end the debate over what size the wheels really are! :-)

Ahh, okay makes sense. The result of the wider spindles on the post-87 cars I'm guessing? I'll look at mine next time I've got them off, but I'll bet you're right and they have a 951 p/n.

That would be Fuchs not Fuch (common mistake). Fuchs is singular. It's German for fox.

Yeah, I know what it mean, just was walking out the door at work, only to find a dead battery (and it is about 15 degrees out).

While we are on the subject I got to thinking how little this mattered. The real issue here is that a 10" wide Fuchs wheel will NEVER fit on an SC (without Turbo flares) and it wont fit a stock bodied 951. They were never used as a rear wheel, only a front for an RSR. They should have an ET of about 10mm (might be 15mm, I am getting old and forgetful!) and they would sitck out past the fender on either car by a bunch.

You got any pictures of this? I would LOVE to know how you accomplished this feat. You can start with how you made the speedometer move. It wouldnt be a 968 tip, because they arent 6 speeds. What did you source it from? Might be a fun next year kind of project!

I kind of wonder if they are 15x7 and 15x9. This would make sense. If you measer the outside of the wheels instead of bead to bead they would measure 15x8 and 15x10. It would also make sense as I think the 930 came with those sizes.
