Default Brake feel

Im not sure if it could be my brake pads or maybe something with the hydrolics but for some reason when I brake the pedal feels real hard when I try to stop fast. When I stop slowly it feels normal but when I try to push the pedal all the way down to stop the car pretty fast I have to push real hard. Anyone know what could be the cause?

Im running mintex pad but I have a set of big reds coming in and I just want to be sure that this problem doenst stay when I install the big reds, like if its a hydrolic problem. So if its the pads then it should be ok.
