Default Alternator died

On saturday my alternator died. Yeah that was fun. Luckily i got the part in the same day but bu the time i did it was too dark to work on the car, live in apt.'s. Did it this morning. MAn i had a fun time getting into that. Took me about an hour to get the airbox out and lossen the belt and just get thatsuckerout becuase it was just frozen into place!! Busted out the crow bar but it popped out after much force was applied. Anyways now it's charging great. Thats all. It was just funny because i remember i had to do that to my camaro and it took a whopping fifteen minutes to swap that one out in the parking lot of autozone. Them crazy german engineers...

Be glad your not driving one of the many front wheel drive machines - alternators are much more difficult on these....

Honda D series motors you either have to remove the intake manifold or remove one of the CV axles to get the alternator out of it's hole. NO I am not going rice, I just happen to know this since I had to do it for a friends car.
