I need a nutty commuter car. I feel I have to push the wrx to hard to keep up 911's and 951's I should have just bought it the first time around. It actually works out well Im only 20 bucks more a month for car stuff than I was before.

FTY - bring that thing up 684 to my house. I'll let you try my 400 RWHP lightweight turbo with escort suspension - I have wanted to drive one of those things for a while now, and I don't know anyone who has one.

I guess they are like paying for something you already have..
I'm not really sure- it's been a LONG time for me.

One of the BONUSES of driving a 17 year old Porsche, it's been owned for 8 years without any payments!

We just had an 05 STI on the dyno on saturday. I dont know what all he had on the car as i was doing other things with a 944s, but it dynoed about 250 at the wheels on the initial run, stephen played with the computer a little and ended up with 270 at the wheels on the last run.

515 a month 72 months....2.9apr....the thing is it lowered my ins, so over all I come out only 20 bucks over what i was spending a month on cars, so instead of expensive ins, I get an expensive car, nice huh? It also puts me below my not allowed to spend more than 1/3 of what i make on cars so everything is ok finacially. The 944 isnt neglected she just gota rear valance, some tires and some fresh oil, rear pads too.

Fty, did you weigh the other cars in that payment category? I am in a similar situation, I dont mind the payments but for 515 there is a lot to choose from, how did you decide?

Well heres the thing, I need something pretty much bulletproof, awd and fast. Its my daily driver and it needs to be somewhat small cuase I drive it into the city everyday.(parked in garage) I dont think there is much else out there, Im also not interested in dodges srt4 the EVo isnt bad but I dont trust the mitsu as much as the subaru, my subabru dealer also takes good care of me when i need service done since they know me very well 3rd car I have bought from them. Theres allways the idea of a corvette but they dont do well in the snow and the new mustang, same situation and they arent as relaible.Im not sure what else would be available for 30000 thats awd and as quick and reliable. Im open to any suggestions. It also wouldnt make a bad track car when she gets retired from the daily driver.

No other suggestions (maybe a 2 year old S4). I dont have to have AWD and I am not necessarily looking for new. I can see your choice though, seems to fit your needs well.

I actually thought about audi but I think you get more for your money. The S4 is an incredible car as well as the older A4's(love the body), but as far as stretching the buck for a new car I dont think you can beat an STI, its a wrx on steriods, that stops better, goes faster and handles better as well as looks a bit more wild. Gotta love a car that comes stock with 300hp and has a water sprayer for the intercooler!! It also has the controlable rear diff...make 65% power go to rear!

Hey man! You never traded for my Turbo! Heh, nice purchase though, I have to say the STi is one of the coolest all-around cars on the market right now.
