Default NO MORE PINK HOOD! Also, methinks I have a leaky injector...

I figured, why start 2 threads when I can do 1?

Anyway, Today, I got bored, drove home to Littleton, and decided my car needed to be washed...Well, washing led to "I'm gonna see if I can polish some of the pink out of my hood" which led to "Yes...yes I can. now lets see how many coats of wax we can put on it so it stays this way for longer..."

Well, needless to say, after 3 stages of machine polishing, and 4 coats of wax, it's like a f*cking shiney red mirror...

Moving on to the leaky injector issue...
I hadn't driven my car for 3 days, and it'd been sitting in the school lot. Go and start it up, and BAM white, gas smelling cloud behind me (no bam sound...just cloud) It's been doing this for a while now, (a month or 4) so I"m thinking it's leaky injector. Also, it's been running rich. Does this sound like a leaky injector? I'm gonna search to find Eyal's thread about the injector cleaning/balancing/refreshing, because I'm pretty sure that'd be good to do. I replaced the seals and caps when I rebuilt the engine, but other than that, they're stock. suggestions? TIA!

-Geoff

P.S. This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated...

P.P.S. Pics coming soon!

If you had a leaky injector- after sitting for a few days your oil would smell of fuel. HTH. I think Scott and the KCWS had a write up on testing / cleaning injectors a aways back. - I'll look for it.
