I'm pretty sure my dad and brother were part of that study! The University of Iowa runs the National Advanced Driving Simulator about 1/2 mile from my house, and did a huge study on cell phones last year. My parents and my brother have all gotten to try it out. I guess it's got some pretty sweet special effects.

So it looks like the reason that she couldn't avoid the accident is that she has one hand on the cell phone, one hand laid on the horn, Oh what does that leave - no hands left to STEER!!!
