Porsche engine options
- Porsche 968 3.0 litre, 240hp stock. Best option AND it's a Porsche four cylinder 944 upgrade!
- Porsche 944 S2
- Porsche 951 turbo engine, same (just buy a 951...)

Audi engine options
- Audi V6 30, 190hp stock. Tuned they sound glorious on full throttle, Stasis Racing has them dialed in.
- Audi //S4 V6 bi-turbo 265hp? stock. Might be too much due to intake runners, turbo, etc)
- NEW Audi //S4 V8, 340hp stock. Short, cam chains are in the rear.)
- Audi AAN 20v turbo 5cyl. 227hp stock, from 1992-95. I have one in my '95 //S6 and I'll measure tonight. These can be tuned to well over 380hp. The beauty of this engine is doesn't have balance shaft belts and I've NEVER heard of a timing belt failure with one. At 1920 rpms they put out 258ft lbs of torque - stock. Much heavier than an all alloy engine though.

VW engine options
- VR6 2.8 litre, or new 3.2 litre. Light, good hp stock, can be supercharged, etc. The sound of one is intoxicating...
- TDi 1.9ltr. What a great idea! These are solid little engines with loads of torque. AWESOME fuel mileage, bad spine tingling sound though...
- 1.8 turbo. Great 150hp stock. Can be tuned to big hps. Oil sudge problems. Could work.
- Passat 4Motion W8 ???

Any other Porsche/Audi/VW that I'm missing?
How would you go about stuffing an Audi 5 cyl into the engine bay. I believe Porsche tried this already and found it was too long to fit comfortably.

Do you mean an old Beetle? Cause I think you can buy a New Beetle with a 1.9 TDI already installed.

Speaking of 5cyls.. Wonder if a volvo 5cyl would fit... like my dads turbo'd 2.4 which puts out around 260horse.

That too, but I was thinking like V70R wagon swap... You know, steal it out of my dads car when hes not looking? The 260 can be brought to about 285 with a chip upgrade too. Mmm.

Or the 2005 that gets 300hp out of the engine.. and I believe you can chip it to get more.

Hm...I know a few volvo owners...I think I could swap my car's and a friend's car's engines in one night w/o them finding out. I'm in!
