Thumbs down POS header from David Fracolli

I'm very upset with this guy because he sold me a bad header.

David if you're out there you owe me $125 for that SPRAYPAINTED header with quarter-sized holes rusted through the thing that deserves to go straight into my dumpster - I thought Rennlisters were better than this!

I e-mailed you several months ago and didn't hear back so I'm calling you out of your hole! If there's still no response I'll be contacting Rennlist admins.

i could be mistaken, but if he is from new york or long island I think i spoke with him just before x-mas about an S tranny that he had - he said he was going overseas in the new year. May be why you cant find him.

Oh I can find him...he sure loves to post on Rennlist. He's been on here today and he'll be here again soon, plus it's easy for him to send me $125 through Paypal even if he's now in Europe.

David bought some parts from me in the past and was very pleasant and prompt to deal with. Hopefully this can all be worked out

I agree he did seem like a fine person to buy parts from and was always responsive to my inquiries until the day I got the 'parts' after which he wouldn't repsond to my e-mail. Hopefully he will do what's right in this situation and refund my money for the ridiculous header I received as well as 2 of the injectors that I intended to send to RC Engineering for cleaning but parts of the injectors are missing!!

If the injectors are just missing the plastic hats.. Just buy a new one. youll want a reseal kit put on them anyway (around 5 bucks).

I take it this was your final resort to post a negative thread publicly to this forum?

I believe David is away and meanwhile his wife handles all the parts dealings for him. Who knows what she may have understood from his instructions?

This might just be a misunderstanding?

Maybe David has a lot of parts and he was away so he told his wife to send them and then she sent some trash instead of grabbing the good parts so dont jump the stuff yet lets hear his side

Why dont we gather a lynching party together, track him down and do it the old fashioned way...
I had a buyer rfom Ebay once leave me a negative feedback three days after I shipped their item. They had specifically requested the cheapest shipping method (UPS ground) and the package was going across country.
Needless to say the day after they left the feedback they received the item and were very pleased with it... I had to pay $20 to get the feedback removed. Im not saying this IS the case here, but when we are talking about a purchase of under a cew hundred $$$, why cant we try to work things out before dragging someones name through the mud?

I'm posting about my experience which is entirely reasonable. I haven't criticized David personally one bit.

I already mentioned that I've given this guy several months [since August 2004] to make this right but he chose not to respond. I contacted him before he left. It's that simple. Stories about negative eBay feedback after 3 days are completely irrelevant!

David suggested in his e-mails that he removed the parts from his running vehicle and shipped them to me before he moved - and posting here is not the last resort but an attempt to simply get ahold of him and plead my case that the headers he charged me for were garbage and I deserve my money back.

It is no accident or mistake when the headers arrived reaking of wet silver spray paint and rusted chunks of metal come chipping off along with gaping holes in 2 of the pipes - UNACCEPTABLE!

Hopefully the story is more clear now.

Parts like those headers are simply unacceptable. If you've been trying for this long, you've been very patient about it so far.
I think you're being reasonable in asking for a refund, at least on the headers.

If you buy a set of injectors, you should expect to change injector seals, unless they are sold with new seals just installed. I don't know if this is the case or not.

RC engineering reseals, and puts new caps on the injectors, its included in their service.
