There's been a 3.0L knife-edged crank on e-bay for a few weeks now for $550. Good luck selling yours at $1000.

Ha, $550 for a knife-edged 3.0L crank, did you read the fine print? That is on an exchange basis, so really you're paying for the work. To buy a crank with that done, expect to pay in the upper $1000 range.

I think $1000 is a pretty good price for it. Best of luck in selling it.

Bingo - the AMW one is a thinly-veiled attempt at a rip-off. I'd be leery of putting anything of theirs into my car anyway - 3 liter or not.

AMW Parts work pretty good in my cars. Thinly veiled attemp at a rip-off?? Let's avoid slandering vendors/people. It's in everyone's best interest.

Neal, search on here for user Dave and his threads regarding his $10,000+ engine fiasco with AMW that could have been better assembled by a 6th-grader.

I think it's far from slander, more like an understatement!

It's definately mis-leading. I don't quite know if it's a rip-off, but it's most definately intentionally mis-leading.

I pulled up some information regarding Anderson (link provided by user merleperry). There are a number of angry individuals if you look here on Rennlist. A friend of mine was considering some work there..... here are a few links that might be of interest.

Any relation to the Neal K. Wright shown as Treasurer on the 2nd link?
