Nothing really wrong with it. Just needed the belts, waterpump, rollers, front seals, leaking oil pressure switch and needed some light bulbs, got all that stuff taken care of.
It has a small leak in the power steering rack, im getting that replaced as soon as the weather breaks.
Minor things for a clean car. I did alot of searching until i found this one. Im glad i got it!

You really have a gem of a 944 there. Here are my comments:
The sticker next to the distributor that says 1234 is extremly rare to still have on the car. as a matter of fact, i think this is the first time I've seen it on other then in the ebay auctions for them they used to have. You should be mildy proud of that.
The throttle cable could use tightening...
Enjoy it.

See this:

Headers 2 & 3 have that 'shark fin' on them, mine don't. Is that from the re-call or did Porsche change their deaigns in later models?

I don't notice any wiring harness on the top of the turbo cooling pump. Was it removed or does it route underneath?

My '87 stock headers had them- its a heatshield that I removed in order to ceramic coat...a real PITA to get off I might add

Nice lookin car though, great price!

Randy: Those 'heat shields' are the same as on headers 1 & 4 but only a smaller 'version' of it if you'd say?

What is the most fustriating part of removing them since my headers are coming off this Friday for exhaust wrapping......

Thnx!

Great looking car! I am feeling your excitement. I picked up my 89 turbo from the transport company on Friday and took it in to have the front tie rods replaced. I cant wait for the weather to break so I can get out. Maybe we could have another GTG soon.
