I would pick it up and bring it back to life, but it's too far away!
I think the price will be right too.

I really think it's too late for that one...survival of the fittest.

I think that the guy who owned this before me just left it out in a field with the hood up and let his dog sleep in it.
:O

Now let's see: The timing belt broke, so we know he knew jack about the car and he didn't maintain it, the valves are bent, the engine AND the tranny are leaking, coolant in the oil, locks are drilled out, odometer's broke, paint is crap, interior is trashed, seats are wrecked, stereo is dead.
Yeah, I guess you could call this a "project car". I'll tell you one thing, it better not sell for any more than I see it at now: $172.50, because that's about what it's worth.

Plus, it's an automatic... I guess, that would be a minus.

and I'll include the Haynes book that I've been using
I won't even go there.

I like the duct tape on the taillight. I guess a broken lense is worse than no tail light at all.

If I bought that I swear I'd rip all that **** off and chuck it in the guy's driveway the instant the title was in my hands - preferably before the ink was even dry on his signature. That's just horrible.

LOL... I was considering that car for a few moments. But my wife really wants to learn to drive a 5-speed (she was pissed that she didn't get to really Drive the 951), so I'll have to wait for some other clunker to turn up in my area. :P

There was a rather nice '87 951 w/ 100k miles and Full records that ended last night in the $5k range, below the reserve price(Albuquerque, NM). But it only had a BIN of $8k.... I was tempted again, but God do I hate Red Porsches..
