Sunroof pushers will not engage sunroof?
I just got my car back from paint and when putting it back together found that the sun roof is not working properly now. The little geared pushers that engage the roof to lift it ar not engaging the roof...
When I attempt to raise the roof, the pushers move, but do not go into the little slot they are intended to, therefore the roof does not lift.
Any suggestions, are their alignment issues I can look at?
Thanks...
Terry
PS: Pics tomorrow, the baby looks pretty damn good!

HI,
The way the sunroof works when detached is somewhat counter intuitive. Somewhere on the web (possibly on here) there is some instructions on how to deal with this. I think if you go to the following link at Clarks Garage you can get some good info on sunroof operation and hopefully this will help you out.
I think you are going to have to first retract the arms all the way - set key in accesory position and psh the sunroof button 'open'. Strange the way this works.
Anyway, check the link and see if this helps.

Good luck,
