Default Well it's officially gone....

The Garage Queen 924S has left my stable and joined Fishey's stable.

We swapped off a couple of things that I wanted to keep and she is officially gone now.

Ron...Please take care of my baby!

I had no idea you were getting rid of it! Is this so you can focus on the '44 now?

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! With those mods you will be in I2-class! Excellent!

I2-Class is full of a lot of good, competitive drivers. You'll be on a fast learning curve. First event is in March at Scarlet Oaks.

Some things must move on, there will be no "Bad PO" rants on this sale... It's still one of the finest examples of a 924S I have ever seen.

I have to agree its one of the finest examples of a 924S out there and now its in my barn

P.S. My dad was telling me about the 944 tranny fluid and the clutch on the 944. Seems like a good thing you checked it.

Tifo...is that the class you are in? I was hoping to be in a pretty much stock class.

Fishey...that tranny fluid was the nastiest **** I've ever seen!!! The fluid looked like that expanding spray foam stuff. I also learned that the rubber center on my clutch is indeed the lash problem I'm experiencing. I hope you enjoy the car Ron.

I'm fairly certain that the springs, sways, and brake swap that we talked about are going to be enough cumulative points to bump you into I2. I'm not certain if just the sways would leave you in stock class, but springs and brake swap added in would probably be enough to move it up. I'll shoot an email to TJ (autocross chair) and get the scoop for ya.

I2 is the class that Dan, TJ, myself, and several others run in.

"Stock" is basically just stock (P6 for your car I believe), and then a few changes will bump you to I2 class. After that, there is a fairly decent amount of things you can do before you get thrown into the higher up Modified classes (Andy's turbo-swap car falls under that classification).
