Anyone here going to Mardi Gras (New Orleans) region PCA party Saturday?

Schumi,
Where ya at? My wife and I will be there. At the meeting last night Chris had the RSVP at 48, so we should have over 50. Should be fun - free food, free drink, videos, etc...
You coming? BTW, who are you? Is this the Captain?
Hope to see you there.

Hey Scott, it is Andy. I bought a 924S in Oct. with a buttload of mods including a 968 shortblock/S2 head. I wanted a 911 but for the relatively paltry sum I was willing to part with this was more bang for the buck than 911. Looking forward to track events. See you at the party.

Left lane guy,
Are you a PCA member? Reason being, is the region is picking up the tab for all drinks and food between 7 and 10 PM but you must be a member (got to show your little card at the door to prove it). If you're not a member, I'll bet you can still come but you may not get no grub and you would most likely have to buy your drinks.
Either way, send me an email so I can make sure to send you a copy of our newsletter. The more the merrier! As of Tuesday, we had about 50 confirmed RSVP. Should be a blast!

Andy,
Hot damn! Can't wait to hear all about the new ride. Sounds like a mean motor scooter! Did you ditch the MR2? Is the 924S going to be a track car?
The first GBRS race is next weekend at No Problem and me thinks the turnout is going to be pretty good. We should have at least five 944's running in the yellow and blue brackets plus four or five 911's along with all the other cars. We're running fixed brackets this year for the first time (no more floating brackets-yea!)
Looking forward to seeing you.

Dave,
If you've got time to kill this Saturday (the 22nd), it is the first race of the season at No Problem Raceway and there will be 10-15 local PCA guys racing out there (myself included) along with all the other folks. If you're interested, come on out. We'd love to have another waterpumper join the fray. First cars are on track at 9AM but the first race is not until 11 or so.
If you decide to come by, look me up. My car is a blue w/orange 944 and will be parked with several other 944's.
If you can't make it, email me at: 4master@bellsouth.net and I'll give you the skinny on what's happening with the club.
