Default Center cap question Now an FYI Now a vendor recommendation

Just got a set of plastic generic center caps for the bmw rims on the GTO. Thanks Matt!

The caps are a dull silver - gray plastic and the rims are a dark gray with a chrome lip.

I cant get stick on centers with an approprate (or Porsche) logo on ebay.

I think i want to get a thick vinyl film with a sticky back and fit that on the cap will make them look a little batter. I know the film comes in different colors, maybe gray or black or chrome.

The problem is all i could find were 15 foot rolls. I need 63mm X 4.

Any suggestions?

Here is a pic of the rim

The GTO boys are too busy pissing on each other about whether a GTO can spank a WRX.

Where do I get a sheet of plastic like this?

Just called a place in PA Envision-Graphix 717 367-6320. Found them through a google search.

A guy Chris is cutting me four round stick ons, told him use his discretion (they speicalize in rice - maybe i shouldnt have said that) as to the background pattern. He is putting a GTO or Pontiac logo on them and mailing them regular mail.

Should only be a few bucks he said. I told him do what he wants using his artistic talents, keep the total under $10.

Will report back to you guys in a week.

I got the decals a week and a half ago, but didnt post because I was taking care of my dying buddy's affairs.

Here is a picture of what Envision-Graphix did for me. Total was $20. Not bad considering they had to spend time doing layout etc.

I recommend them.

Hah, looks like the BMW wheels actually fit pretty well on the car, at least from that pic. Have any others that show the whole car?

I have rolls of almost every color vinyl imagineable. If you still need it, let me know and I can cut some and mail it off to you.
I just bought a new role (165ft) of gloss black. Ive had three people locally ask me to do the colored rock guards for them...

Tom, nice car - but I don't get it. Why do car manufacturers remake such a cool classic and make it look like any other car out there. The new GTO to me looks more like a Buick than a musclecar, one passed me the other day and I didn't realize what it was until I saw the badge. Anyway, I'm sure it rocks - I just wish they would have given it a little more style.

Wow tom, thing about those wheels is, it makes the car actually look like a small car in the pictures anyway.

And the wing helps too. Did that wing come on it? From the pictures I looked at it looks like some have the wing some dont.
