Default Anyone buy replacement AGLA boot/**** combo?

I recently purchased the AGLA boot/stock **** combo from our friends at Paragon. I didn't want to mess with replacing the leather on the original **** so I ordered the whole replacement from Jason.

We installed it, and everything seems to fit fine, but I've noticed one thing... I tend to get engine or transmission "noise" coming through the shift **** now. I NEVER got this prior to the **** change. It's weird too, because the replacement **** that AGLA provides is all rubber - no metal.

Just curious if anyone else has purchased one of these kits and notice anything similar. Thanks in advance...

I have one and I never noticed any noise. I'm real happy with the **** & boot.

No issues like that with mine either. I like the placebo effect of shifting faster since the replacement is markedly lighter than stock.

I guess that's one other thing I don't like about it. It just doesn't feel right compared to the original (weight wise). Guess I should have stuck with it.
