Talking Lift assembly is complete! pics of the finished product!

Aside from getting all the HUGE heavy pieces off the trailer everything has bolted up quite nicely without much hesitation! Everything is all hooked up as of now, tomorrow the hidraulic fluid will go in, and we will PRAY that we can stack two 944's. If we can stack them, it will be a very close call with the ceiling beam and/or the garage door. If not, one will have to sleep outside until either the garage tracks are raised, or the door is completely taken out and we could put in some kind of swing-open barn door. Either way, here are some pics as of now, so be prepared for a few more pics tomorrow- maybe one of a Porsche Pancake!

that looks alot like the one my summertime employer bought. Sure is neat... he plans to put (may have already, I havent dropped by since early in school) 2 formula cars on the top layer alone.

Nice lift! I envy your garage, my workspace is an 19th Century Carriage barn, which I finally got sick of the crappy 2 florecent tubes this past summer and installed 8 new ones.

Did you have to do anything with the cement floor prior to ordering? I will be curious how you like that, I have been investigating 4 post lifts extensively lately, and have it narrowed down to the Backyard Buddy and the Autolifter M6. What brand did you order?

Regards,

The Brand is "Direct Lifts", and the floor is just the standard layer of cement... no deeper than normal, which is fine for this lift, since it doesnt need to be bolted to the floor. Neat thing about this lift is that it has big attachable wheels to the 4 posts for manuverability. We can even roll the lift out of the garage and put the Tahoe on it if needed...

I'll have to ask my dad where he got it tomorrow

Well, its all done now and its picking the 951 up nicely, however the garage door is too low when it's raised and the spoiler wont clear to allow the S2 enough room under it. The 951 needs to go up about 5 more inches to let the S2 under it. Not that big of a deal... what we'll have to do is get a foot long piece of garage door track to raise the upright position of the door about 1 foot, then we can definitely stack 2 944's. Until then, here are some pics of the finished product!

Thanks for all the comments, this thing is really going to come in handy when the 951 engine gets pulled/dropped out for a rebuild.

As requested, there is a website with all the info about this lift: http://www.directlift.com/direct_park7.htm

Very nice! I can't imagine having a proper garage, not to mention a lift.

Whose '05 'Stang?
