Correct? They came with 16X 7/8" PDs as a base model and 16 X7/8 D90s as an option. You could also order 16X 7/8 Forged 928 "sewer lid" style wheels, etc. There were hosts of options. Most of them will have the Phone Dials.

No fuchs, not available in the 52mm offset (well okay there are like 4 sets in the world in the 52mm offset).

7J & 8J x 15 or 16, all ET 52.3 - mix of 944/951/928 P/N's, all cast, MY '87

or

7J & 9J x 16, ET65 and 60, respectively, 951/928 P/N's, forged, MY '88 only (I assume this is the Turbo S as it is spec'd for M030/758 option code)

That's what PET shows...

Oops, my bad... some of the 52.3's show forged as well.

Hope this helps.

They never used 15" wheels on the 944 Turbo except very early 86 cars. Could they have been an option? Maybe.

Again, the list I have at the top is inclusive for MY 1987 except boutique.

The ET60/65 wheels are the forged Club Sport wheels for the 1988 Turbo S and the 1989 Turbo cars.

THANKS, I used to have 15 inch phone dials on a 1984 944. All the same size. I like them a lot. are there any drawbacks?? I should think not since they put them on 951s.

Do 15" wheels fit on a 951? I really hope so, then I don't have to buy 2 sets of winter wheels/tires.

They will fit on the early cars, I have never tried on the late cars but you could test fit it.

Only the 15" PD wheels will fit, the 15" Fuchs won't.

Danno is correct, the "paddles" of the fuchs will hit the brake calipers.

Yup, I braincramped in my first post. Those P/N's were for ALL 944 MY '87 cars... Not sure the 15's would clear calipers on the baby Brembos.

I'm much better now, lots of coffee...

7x15" 52mm offset phone dials will not fit on an 87 turbo. They hit the calipers on the fronts.

Hey, when I bought my '87 944 it came with phone dials, I dont like those so for xmas I got fuchs, I know everyone says they dont work well on a '87 944 but I got my rear fenders rolled so they havent rubbed lately, they did rub before, i had to go back and change tires two times, the tires that are on it now are less wide in the back and the tread doesnt stick out as much, my dad drove it kinda hard i guess when i brought it home last and went over a dip in the road where they rubbed before, didnt rub this time...hopefully wont either, if they do eventually im sure i'll figure something else out to still use my fuchs, theyre my fave type of wheel!
