Default Anyone got a CHEAP winter beater for sale?

I need something CHEAP, fairly close. I dont care about color, body condition (to an extent), interior (though it must have heat and seats). Just needs to run, drive and be CHEAP. Dont really care what it is either.

I am in the Chicago area, anywhere in OH, WI, IL, maybe even further but I need to get it this weekend and drive it home.

Let me know what you got.

I have an excellent condition plymoth reliant k. Less than 70k miles, all it needs is one wiper arm, and it leaks powersteering fluid. NO RUST, body is in perfect shape. It will get you where ever you need to go, very reliable. I still can't decide if I should sell it to get a volvo turbo wagon. Its sorta at best offer, because I'm not sure what its worth. It was old lady driven, so its in good shape.

Thanks for the offer, I will keep it in mind. I am looking to spend next to nothing (okay, a little more but not much). I think Louisville is a haul so let me see if something else pops up closer.

Someone mentioned a relative was selling a pickup for like 500 bucks in Chicago, that would be perfect.

Louisville is a pretty long haul, just about an hour south of cincy, but keep it in mind if you want. Good luck

Did you check craigslist Chicago? Nice crown vic for $400, a couple of neons, and an '87 Saab for $545.00
There's even an 84 Mercedes 190E, needs a shift linkage, but only $400.

My brother had a 80 something Ford 4wd p/u that needs a p/s pump. It's a beast, been to Alaska and back, engine was replaced should have about 70,000 on the engine, It's around Springfield Ill. I think he's looking for around $700 for it. I can see if it sold yet.
