The car is Yellow with a turbo front bumper and a GT racing nose panel. I am serious, I just need to talk ask my mom.

My mom has been bothering me telling me to get rid of the yellow because she doesnt want me having two cars. I think she might have wanted money for it, but ill see what i can do.

The car is in good running condtion, but however does not get fuel because of a problem with an alarm I believe, I havent been able to check into it further because I havent had time. Lemme see if i can get my mom to bite on this, because i think a turbo engine in my black car would be SWEET!!!

I looked into this a while back. A lot depends on how popular your route is. A ballpark for shipping 1500 miles or so on open truck is $1200. Figure double that for cross-country. Double that again for enclosed shipment by top company (like the ones who ship old race and very expensive cars). I did some research and determined that many, many people who ship cars this way regret it because they claim the shippers are dishonest (damage cars, won't pay damage claims, miss deadlines by weeks/months, etc.). I ultimately decided to fly out and drive car back (1400 mile trip) rather than deal with cost and hassle of shipping.

Not if you use a good company. Most of us who have shipped cars found that you get what you pay for. Plenty of satisfied Rennlisters in this thread:

https://rennlist.com/forums/off-topic/178442-auto-transport-company.html

In this case I imagine that the cost of shipping when compared against the value of the car would not make it a worthwhile transaction.

My mom is up for it, im waiting for my stepdads approval. He will probally say yes, but to swap the motor into the black car how long would it take? Would taking a turbo motor and puting it into an N/a even be worth it? Is it a lot of trouble?

Andy said its not too bad, and we can probally do it at his place (he has the engine hoist and A LOT of 944 parts). I need the DME (ECU?) and to wire the turbo pumper or something. Im gonna talk to my stepdad tonight but it looks like a go.

Now, the yellow, it is a neat car, but is lacking most of the interior. What i can give you is a full set of Tan (mildy worn) interior for it. I can put that in and get the car going decent. It has fuchs .

It doesnt have
-Carpet and... thats about it.
It has black interior, 84, 99,XXX miles, timing belt and balance shaft belt done 150 miles ago. I have most of the black interior pieces, minus the carpet . Basically the interior is all there, and if you want i can throw the beige stuff in for ya. The reason it doesnt start is because it has a Viper alarm and its stopping the car from getting fuel. It needs work, but man, it looks cool on the outside . I dont have pictures right now, Carl, can you send some?

Anyway lemme know if you still wanna do this so we can get it planned out.

Are you talking to me or Todd? He has first dibs, I dont give a rip about the interior, I need something that runs/drives and can go in the snow with a set of Blizzaks, it needs to be cheap and close.

I'm here, actually I'm at work Seems a lot of folks are all the sudden buying a bunch of Ford Escapes, so I had to change my line over from making F-250 windshields to making Escape windshields.
Rock, give me a call in the morning. I will PM you with my #. I would like to have what ever you have of the black interior. I have another parts car coming this weekend, so I can use the carpet out of it.
As far as the swap, you would need a air-meter, and the computer boxes. That is all I don't have. I will put the intercooler and all of the necessary plumbing in for the swap.

Oh, if you could get it running, that would be great. I plan on driving it back to Nashville.
