Default Still Shopping

Well I went to pick up my 944 and I backed out after towing my bike 6 hours.

It sounds like you made a good decision. If the cosmetics were that bad the mechanicals would probably be worse.

Agreed. That's hard to do when you have your heart set on something, but it's a good call. You want a good car owned by someone that cherished and respected it, not some dope that abused the heck out of it and just wants to make a buck. If that's representative of the condition, I don't even WANT to know when the belts were last done. . .

Yeah. I was trading my bike for it. But my bike is worth around $3000, The 944 was worthe maybe 1500 as it was... I did not want it that bad.

Did you offer the owner what you thought was fair? Sell the bike outright, keep the extra grand (or 2) for Porsche parts.. Jst a thought.

That 944 for too far gone. I will just wait til the bike seels then find a Porsche.

Probably your best bet. Prices are cyclical- cheap to buy a 944 now thru February.
Kinda like a motorcycle. Youl'll get more in march/april for the bike- but spend more as well.

Take your time and find the right one.

Yeah I figured that. I may sell the bike and wait til the end of summer to buy a 944.
