Default rear seat converted to rear compartment

A couple weeks ago there was talk about this. Anyone know what the thread is called or is anybody working on the conversion? No need for a rear seat, might as well get rid of it.

I am going to try this using my existing seat back and light weight carpet. I will post pics when I get done. The car is apart for painting right now.

Jason_86_951 was working on it...

Pretty neat, If I weren't a poor 18 year old I would definately buy one, or try to make one...

Yep I'm still working on it. I had to take a break from it for a while due to the holidays, home projects and the new parts car.
I need to make room in the garage to work, too many damn car parts in the way.
I should be making some progress on it soon.
I'll update as soon as I make some more headway.

I was thinking about turning my 2 back seats into permanent child seats...complete with 5 point harness and all. As soon as I saw the back seat, someone said, "only a baby would fit back there" and thus the idea. Anyone else ever done this. Now your 944 can also be your family car!!
