Default CA Central Coast Run - UPDATE - with Pics now...

I thought we needed a new topic for this event.

How about the middle of January? The 15th or 22nd is a good date. How about meeting up in San Jose or wherever will be central to everyone.

Are there any good roads near San Jose??? I know of several here near Monterey, but that may be too far south for most.

Feel free to post any and all ideas. I wanna drive & EAT!

Jonathan

Tons of good roads near San Jose in the foothills. The 968 gathering for NorCal is set for the 29th (tentatively) so that's not a good weekend for me. I would say Jan 22nd or maybe February 5th.

Maybe those of us from San Francisco can caravan down on 1 ->92->280?

Yo, I'm down playah.
Either weekend works for me - I have nothing to do until school starts again on Jan. 31. Caravaning is cool with me. IF my car is running (just got it running today, but it keeps dying unexpectedly and for no apparent reason, I think it's the speed/ref sensors).

Being new to CA, I am up for some exploring. I'll try to fit whatever date the group decides into my schedule. I travel to Monterey and Santa Cruz regularly for work so I should be able to attend.

I hardly venture south of redwood city, so I don't know squat 'bout the roads there.

Welcome to the area as well as Rennlist! We should have the date nailed down in the next week or so.

Any chance doing this on a Sunday instead of Saturday? I'd like to join you, but I am @ Thunderhill for a Driver's Ed on the 15th and Sears Point for a NASA DE on the 22nd... Getting an early start on track days this year... and my son is doing the NASA one with me!!

OK, Let's say the 16th. Now, will someone in San Jose give us a place to meet???? We need someone who knows the roads out there. Some place near the 101 and the Capitol Expressway would be good, i guess. Just depends on where we are running. Dmitry, could you look into this? Maybe even somewhere near 82 and 87.... anything good out that way?

We could meet at my house - that's near the 85/280 intersection. All the good roads are near Los Gatos, Mountain View, etc.

That will work - What time will work for you? I can meet any time in the afternoon. You set the time, we'll show up.
