drool. that looks like a beautiful car. can't be much help as i haven't priced early model 911s in a while. main things to look for - rust in the floorpans, body alignment, oil leaks. body looks in great shape with great paint. you can probably talk him down lower than market based on the non-original engine and body mods.

well, from working at a porsche shop for a while, the 2.7 is not the engine you want,
they have a bunch of problems, i think they were oil leaks, and longevity issues as it is just a bored 2.4, you would be better off with a different engine,

but that is just me, car looks great though
