I did it twice and it is not so difficult. Good idea is to repalce the injector seals by the way. Making cam followers not to fall down during assembly is pretty tricky.... but You will see.

Im planning on doing mine in mid Jan, besides getting the TDC it's pretty straight forward.

The thing is, i DONT like messing with re-tensioning the main belts (timing and balance shaft). So i was thinking of removing the belt, get TDC, replacing the gasket (along with the rear cam 'cork' gasket) and towing the car to my mechanic to re-tension the belts. The belts would need re-tentioning anyway (20K kms service) so.....i would save some $$ in the job and a good time to learn since it would be my first 'engine' repair really......

PS, when you have the cam assembly off, make SURE that before you put in the gasket that both mating surfaces are dry and clean.

Might want to remove that link before the moderators get to you. Don't want to get into trouble by posting a link to "illegal" software......

Neither links worked for me Mike. Thanks for all the replies. I actually have some pictures I took of the oil leak, I will post them up in about an hour or two. Maybe someone has had a similar leak and can point me in the right direction, I really do think its the main cam seal though.
