funny thing was is my car was totally stock expt the slicks and some weltmeister springs on front 200lbs, NO REAR SWAY BARS. I placed ahead of all the 911's, but that day i couldnt get the two 968's, the trailered 911-ok one- and a 944.

AutoX is all about the driver.

I know a car will never produce good times when in my hands. However, I think I will still have fun and thats why I might do a few autoXs this year.

Well done there!! No rear bar!?!? My car was fully stock then too, only I was running Yoke A-032s IIRC. The trailer 911, Mr. Raum's car?? It is OK, I trailed him at every event I went to. Only managed to pip him for FTD one time out of many chances.

Best to you,

Excellent! The more the merrier! Dan and I routinely beat 95% of the 911 variants out there, so another transaxle car to join in the pummelling would be nice!

Renee wants to come autocross and do some DE's with me this year. Now I need to consider whether or not I want to install the manual steering rack or leave the power one in for her (don't want her to get Popeye forearms, LOL).

yeah, Erin keeps saying shes going to autox next year, i think if she tries it she'll be hooked. My dads new wife mentioned the other nite that she wanted to try auto xing as well, but i dont know how well a six cyl. mustang would do out there....should be an interesting year, hopefully the teener project works out as planned.

Sounds like a battle of the SOW females shaping up then! Ashley is going to autocross in her pink psuedo-951cup car as well. Sounds like it will be a fun year!

Santa, err, the wife let me have a porsche for Christmas. Since I haven't figured how to post pic's yet. It would be easier to look at Andyk's pic's of his celebration 944, since it was his car! Plaid interior and all! PO. kept it spotless! And it is now sitting in a heated garage as well. I didn't want the salt from these new england roads on it so I had it flatbedded home. It's in good hands again. Alex
